The BRI residential building, to be built in the Budapart development area, next to the Kopaszi Dam, is a 179-apartment, distinctive contemporary building. Special features are the two parallel building masses resting on a two story high, partially green-walled “plateau”, These 6 and 8 floor high blocks, with their markedly different proportions, define the appearance of the building. The superstructures, which seem to float, are separated from the lower floors by a balcony strip running around each block, and a large green roof is located between them. The best feature of the building is the interaction between the clean, rational floor plan and the unique mass formation. The disciplined rhythm of the facades, the large terraces of the stepped back penthouses on the top floors, and the front facing the park pulled back behind the two-story pillars, give the building a fresh, modern character. With two separate lobbies and 24-hour reception service, the building is connected to the urban fabric of the Budapart development with a high quality, well-thought-out residential environment.
