The new DPF factory is connected to the first one by a bridge and its architecture has also been adjusted to it. The single-story factory production hall, built according to the manufacturing technology, is connected to a two-story office building.
The Japanese company manufactures ceramics-based filters developed for diesel vehicles (DPF) with up-to-date technology which meets the European standard. The first factory of the company started operation in 2005 in the Dunavarsány Industrial Park. There was a high demand for the products, so the design of a second factory had been commissioned even before the first one was inaugurated. The second building is located behind the first one at 50 m distance, the two halls are connected by an enclosed bridge. The new building consists of a production hall and a connected office building, the entrance is located on the longer side. There are two separated production areas on the ground floor, their clear hight is 5.00 m, with the exception of three sections of 12.00 m height. There are four production lines in the production hall, complete with storage areas for raw materials and finished products, packaging areas, technological, mechanical and electrical rooms, changing rooms, restrooms, social areas and kitchenette. There is an interior expansion area for the establishment of a fifth production line. The office block is two story high, besides offices, it accommodates meeting rooms, training rooms, a files storage room and different social and service areas as well. The waste storage containers and the gas supply installations are located in a separate, roofed structure next to the hall.
The building has been constructed with a reinforced concrete framework, supplemented with in-situ concrete and steel structures. The mounted panels of the facades are clad with grey-white powder coated, corrugated metal sheets, complete with blue powder coated aluminium-glass curtain walls at the entrance. Natural light in the office building is provided by aluminium windows, the production hall has skylights also functioning as smoke outlets.
