The school complex is divided into several units to adjust to the comb-type rows of houses on the main street of Vecsés. The short wings with lateral corridors join a cross wing, which provides connection between the different functional areas. The brick architecture of the street facades and the perforated brick boundary wall follow the traditions of local vernacular architecture.
The three two-storey, gabled wings facing the street evoke the original build-up of the plots. Two of the wings are halved by a cross-wing which accommodates the entrance hall. There is a courtyard in front of the main entrance. The street side ends of the wings are occupied by the library and the dining hall, both have access from the street as well. The gates and external doors are decorated with motifs taken from the traditional old houses of rich peasants. Classrooms, classrooms with special equipment and teaches’ rooms are located in the wings with lateral corridors. There is a multifunctional aula with sunken floor behind the cross-wing, built between the corridors of the two classroom wings. The podium of the aula is located on the back side of the hall, which has an exit to the schoolyard. The hall has visible, painted timber roof structure, fair faced brick walls and it is decorated with a statue. There is a large schoolyard behind the back wings, with a separated sports court.
The third gabled wing, two-storey high in the middle and single-storey at the ends, accommodates the lower grade classes. It is connected to the entrance hall by a covered, bridge-like passage. This wing has a separate schoolyard. The classrooms facing the neighbouring plot have walls of wired glass instead of windows.
The sports hall, which accommodates the cultural programs of the village as well, is located behind the wing and courtyard of the lower grade classes and it is accessible from the corridor of the classroom wings, too. The hall can be divided into two parts, its floor level is lower than that of the other parts of the school. The service areas of the sports hall and the school, the changing rooms and toilets are located within the building on two levels, accessible from lateral corridors within the airspace of the hall. These corridors, open towards the hall, can be used as grandstands as well.
The building has yellow and red fair faced brick walls; the cornices and the gables decorated with dentils are typical of the old houses in the village. The fair faced brick walls can be seen in some of the interiors as well. The doors and windows feature local Swabian (ethnic German) motifs. There is metal sheet roofing on the buildings, corn yellow on the school and black on the sports hall. The large complex is well integrated into the traditional village environment.
