
András studied at the Donát Bánki Technical College, Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering and graduated in 1997 as a safety and security engineer. He had been working during his college years as a project manager and acquired the certification for fire alarm system design as well. He has been a senior electrical designer since 2004 and, since 2021, he has also held a principal designer qualification for built-in fire alarm systems, with authorization to design telecommunication and fire protection systems as well. He got his qualification as electrical project manager and supervisor in 2014.
He worked as project manager at a security systems contractor company between 1997-1999, where he also practised systems programming.
He joined KÖZTI in 2000 as an electrical designer. He has been head of the electrical studio since 2011, he is head of engineering from 2021.
András has worked on most of the important projects of KÖZTI as a senior electrical designer, including the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal, the Kecskemét Health Centre, the Budapest Bank Headquarters, the Parliament Visitor Centre and Museum, the Castle Garden Bazaar, the Puskás Arena, the GTC White House office building, the Csík Ferenc Swimming Pool in Sopron, Unified design and renovation of the Headquarters and Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and the design of the new Campus building of Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
András is vice president and board member of the Electrical Engineering Section, and also serves on the board of the Fire Alarm Systems Department within the Fire Protection Section of the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers.
