Leading architect designers from Spain, Great Britain and Denmark gave lectures in the new Conference Centre of Puskás Aréna.
This year, the central theme of the convention was the healing architecture. „The idea of health and the city or the connection between wellness and the built environment is really a timely subject and many people are approaching this subject from many interesting viewpoints.” said Martha Thorne, advisor of the event.
The lectures of the full day event approached the theme very professionally and from a wide spectrum, with a deep commitment to the present, future and the actual challenges. The participants of the convention got an overview of the short and long term goals, actual or completed projects of Hungarian and international architects. Besides the hotshots – Antonio Ortiz, Nicola Scaranaro, Erik Frandsen, Patrick Lüth – the young architect team of The Care Lab also debuted. Advisor of the event was Martha Thorne, Executive Director of the Pritzker Prize and Dean of IE School of Architecture and Design, Madrid.
The last lecture was given by architect György Skardelli, senior designer of the venue hosting the convention, and the event ended with a visit to eight locations within the building, guided by the architects of KÖZTI.
