The new-generation building complex of the Dürer Park project is located in Ajtósi Dürer Street, in the immediate vicinity of the Városliget and the Zugló villa district. From the very beginning of the project, the design concept has been based on preserving the historical values of the area and meeting modern needs. While designing the residential buildings, collaboration between the Milanese Lissoni Casal Ribeiro design office and KÖZTI has resulted in solutions of international standard, yet fitting into the local context.
Dürer Park will accommodate a total of 207 apartments in three residential buildings. The designs were continuously refined, taking into account the architectural style of the area, the preservation of green spaces and sustainability aspects. The final concept resulted in a building complex that harmoniously fits into its environment while offering high-quality living spaces.
The residential buildings planned for Dürer Park will be built with geothermal radiant ceiling cooling and heating and also shading systems, which contribute to predictability and reduce utility costs. A large part of the parking spaces will be suitable for charging electric cars as well. Development is aming at minimizing the ecological footprint of the construction by consciously organizing construction traffic and protecting local wildlife. In addition, in case of the office buildings, a large green roof will significantly improve the quality of life here and contributes to increasing green space in the city.
The fundamental expectation during the construction of Dürer Park was the use of high-quality materials and the application of modern architectural solutions. The basic philosophy of Dürer Park is that the environment of a living space begins not at the front door of the apartment, but in the surrounding streets, and then it continues within the plots, the buildings, the common spaces and corridors. Together, these form a whole.
During the development of Dürer Park, the developers renovated the middle section of Ajtósi Dürer Street, thereby establishing a direct connection with the Liget by pedestrian crossings and a green strip. They also revived the park with old trees within Dürer Park plot, which had been created by the Sacré Coeur sisters, when a convent operated in the area decades earlier.
