This year marked the 7th time that KÖZTI’s team took on the Ultrabalaton, setting off once again with unwavering enthusiasm. The KÖZTIEAM completed the 209-kilometre distance around Lake Balaton in 17 hours and 58 minutes, achieving an impressive 23rd place among corporate teams out of 860, and finishing 96th overall out of 2,655 teams.
Our colleagues overcame every challenge together, running tirelessly even through the early hours of the morning, supporting one another as a true team. Along the way, we experienced the many faces of Lake Balaton: the scorching sunshine on the northern shore, the colors of the sunset in Fonyód, the starry sky along the southern shore, and finally the first rays of sunrise crowning our efforts at the finish line in Füred.
We also took part in the charitable campaign organized by NN Ultrabalaton and BioTechUSA, donating the deposit fee of our timing chip to support a good cause.
