


Bálint studied at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Faculty of Architecture and graduated in 2006. He got a specialist diploma in historic monument preservation in 2010.
He began working at KÖZTI in 2008, in the studio of György Skardelli. He became project manager in 2021, and currently serves as project director.
Bálint has worked on many important projects as an associate of György Skardelli and as a project architect, including the KÖZTI Headquarters, the reconstruction of the Lower Castle at Füzér, the Ludovika Arena, the Puskás Ferenc Stadium and the MVM Dome. He also contributed to the design of the new art complex of the Opera House as a collaborator of Miklós Marosi.
His major independent works include Phase I of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Headquarters reconstruction, the restoration of Szádvár Castle, and several projects within the ROM Vándor heritage conservation program. As lead architect, he authored the first-prize-winning design for the national architectural competition for the renewal of the Zsámbék Old Church, as well as the plans for the Károlyi Alajos Palace within the Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPKE) Campus.
For his work on various ruin conservation projects, he received the ICOMOS Award (2021, 2025), the Media Architecture Award (2021, 2024), the BIG SEE AWARD (2022, 2025), and the “Young Architects in Black and White” distinguished prize (2021).
As a district delegate, he contributes to the professional supervision of the Budapest Chamber of Architects and participates in the work of the Budapest Urban Planning and Architectural Design Council. He is also an active lecturer and author on both national and international platforms.
