Alfréd studied at the Technical University of Budapest, Faculty of Architecture and graduated with honours in 1991. He attended the post-graduate Master School of the Association of Hungarian Architects in 1994-1996.
He started to work in József Finta ’s studio in 1991, first at Lakóterv, then at the Finta Studio. He worked at the Óbuda Építész Stúdió between 2003 and 2021 as managing director and senior architect.
He joined KÖZTI in 2021 as deputy design director.
His most important projects have been residential buildings, office buildings and various public buildings. These include the MÁV Headquarters on Könyves Kálmán körút, the special education building of the University of Public Service, the Békásmegyer Market and public area, the Emerald Residence on Szervita Square and the sports centre of Szent Imre Grammar School.
Alfréd has been a member of several professional societies and design committees. He has been invited as a lecturer by the Faculty of Architecture at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
Besides other professional awards, he was awarded the Ybl Miklós Prize in 2019.
