Zoltán studied at the Technical University of Budapest, Faculty of Architecture and graduated with honours in 1989. He attended the post-graduate Master School of the Association of Hungarian Architects in 1992-1994.
He joined KÖZTI in 1989 and started to work at Miklós Marosi’s studio. He got his senior architect appointment in 1994 and his own studio in 2000. He has been a member of the board of directors since 2004. He became deputy managing director of KÖZTI in 2013. In 2021 he became director of design and chairman of the board.
He has designed mostly office and residential buildings. Some of his most important projects include the Dorottya Court office building, the Riverloft residential and office building, the GTC Metro és White House office buildings, the Liszt Ferenc International Airport SkyCourt and T2B Pier, the reconstruction of Kossuth Square and the Budapart BRD residential building.
Zoltán has been a member of many professional societies, design committees and diploma committees. He is a member of the board at the Budapest Chamber of Architects and chairman of the supervisory board at the Association of Hungarian Architects. He has been a regular member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts since 2012.
He has received numerous professional awards and prizes. He was awarded the Pro Architectura Prize in 2004, the Ybl Miklós Prize in 2006 and the Prima Primissima Award in 2016.
